Events2024 Annual Shooting and Archery Competition - now closed for new entries Click here for more information. The Annual competition is held in September each year and is open to any scout or adult to compete in.
.22 Rim Fire Shooting Sessions for Scouts and Explorers If your scouts are competent shooters using diopter sights on air rifles, we can facilitate a visit to Bath TA Shooting range with our trained instructors (The Invicta range in Shirehampton can also be used, if this is more convenient). More information regarding the Bath Range and booking can be found here
Club Nights Every third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm ASRC provide a regular session for the Adult club members to practise 0.22 small bore rifle prone target shooting. The aim is so that leaders/helpers can improve their own skills enabling them to pass these on to the Scouts, subject to the Scouts Policy, Organisation & Rules (POR) requirements and associated information sheets. There are instructors & coaches on hand to offer help and assistance. It also provides an opportunity to shoot and maintain your ASRC membership. If you wish to attend, you will need to make sure that you print off and fill out these three forms. ASRC Membership Form, Shooting Declaration and Letter of Reference. You won't be able to shoot unless you bring these completed forms with you. The cost of each session is £6 to cover the running costs. The venue will be opened 10 to 15 minutes before 7.30pm, so hopefully the kettle will be on before you arrive. For members who bring their own rifles and shoot their own ammunition, the cost will be £3. This to cover their portion of the range hire. More information about the club nights can be found here
